Monthly Family Membership Subscription
Family Memberships make it easier to create alongside the ones you love by offering all of the same benefits as individual membership, at a discount, to people signing up under a family membership plan. Choose between plans for 2 adults or 1 adult plus up to 2 household children (minimum age 10). Like individual memberships, family-plan members all enjoy a 10% discount on classes, courses and workshops. Members enjoy access to the pottery studio from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., 7 days a week, with the exception of major public holidays (closures will be communicated in advance).
Our member-reserved room and wheels mean that there is space to work even when classes are in session. Keep reading to learn more…
Membership includes bisque and glaze firings, use of studio equipment, tools, glazes and numerous other materials, a dedicated personal space for storage of works in progress and personal tools, and at least one bisque firing and one glaze firing per week. We keep two different kinds of clay in stock for purchase by our members, whom we encourage to purchase clay directly from Staunton Clayground.
Need some help, advice or just someone to bounce your ideas off of? The studio manager or another experienced potter will be in the studio at scheduled times for approximately nine hours every week to offer assistance as needed! Need to brush up on making lids or handles? Special member-only workshops roughly once a month will focus on specific topics or skills.
Members also enjoy a 10% discount on classes, courses, workshops.
10% discount if paying for 3 months (see relevant shop page).

Read the most recently updated version of the full Studio Membership Agreement here. Members are required to provide a signed copy before beginning to use the studio.
Once your Membership Application has been accepted, you will be required to complete a tutorial session before receiving your door code. If your application has been accepted and you have not yet attended a tutorial, please write to the Studio Manager to schedule one as soon as possible, so you can begin taking advantage of everything our studio has to offer!
Families may put their membership “on hold” for one month during every calendar year, for a nominal fee of $20 for that month. Please speak to studio management about how to do this before canceling your current membership subscription.
